Game Rules

1. Bingo

1.1 General

1.2 Fair Play

At Bingo Entertainment, fair play is an integral part of our gaming philosophy. This is why we ensure all measures are put in place to afford our players an equitable and enjoyable gaming experience.

Randomness: The order that the Bingo balls are drawn is determined by our Random Number Generator (RNG).

To create a fair gaming environment for our players, a True Random Number Generator, which determines all the results of every wager, is absolutely necessary. Thereby True Random Number Generator provides security for players.

Bingo Entertainment’s software, developed and maintained by Hyped Gaming Industries, uses a True Random Number Generator which carries an official Certificate of RNG Evaluation from iTech Labs, an internationally recognized and respected Accredited Testing Facility. iTech Labs has evaluated scaling for bingo, keno, roulette and slot games. iTech Labs also conducted shuffling tests for single deck card games with and without joker.

The scaling and shuffling tests were conducted on large enough samples to give the calculations sufficient statistical power.  iTech Labs has found that the number sequences are unpredictable, non-repeatable and uniformly distributed.

iTech Labs has been working with industry operators, suppliers, manufactures and regulators to ensure that gaming products operate in a manner that is fair, secure and audit-able and comply with some of the world’s most stringent and comprehensive legislative and regulatory requirements.  The RNG was tested according to UK Gambling commission requirements.

1.2 Game Recovery

If your connection to a Bingo game is lost for whatever reason, e.g. internet connection problems, quitting by clicking on the X, you can still go back into Bingo and resume your participation. If you join before the game has begun, you will see the same tickets/strips as before and you will have the option to purchase, if time permits. If you join a game whilst it is in progress and you have already purchased tickets for that game, the game will resume at the current number being called, your purchased tickets will be retrieved and you will be able to watch the remainder of the game being played out. If you are disconnected while a game is in progress, you can still see the results in your account History after completion of the game. When you re-login to bingo, if a game is already in progress and you have not purchased tickets for that game, you will see this being played out, and will also have the option to move to the next game and purchase tickets if you wish. In the event of a Bingo or Mini Game not playing out for whatever reason, malfunction will void all pays and play.

1.3 Fair Payouts

Bingo Entertainment ensure all the games are put through rigorous tests before releasing it for customers to access. In addition, our software suppliers who provide Bingo Entertainment with games will conduct their own extensive testing including playing through the games millions of times before any game is made available on our website.

Bingo Entertainment software uses a sophisticated Random Number Generator (RNG) device that creates random outcomes for each game. Whatever the customer has bet on or the amount they have staked has no influence on the number the RNG arrives at.

1.4 Bingo Prize Determination

Variable Prize Games:

The prize on variable bingo games, which are games where the prize is determined in accordance with the number of tickets purchased, starts with a minimum guaranteed pot amount. This amount depends on the particular game and is usually £1, £2, £5 or £10 for normal games and can go up to £30 on certain promotional games.

Once the guaranteed pot amount is met from card purchases, a variable rake is taken and the game prize is then determined:

Prize Scale:

Level 1: Rake of 0% until the pot guarantee is met

Level 2: Rake of 20% for Prizes of $0 – $9.99

Level 3: Rake of 25% for Prizes of $10 and over

(in addition to Progressive Jackpot rakes)

Fixed Prize Games:

Rake of 100% on all cash ticket purchases over and above the fixed payouts.

2. Getting started Bingo

2.1 Provided you have an Account with us, you will be able to log in to the Bingo game through our website’s home page. The first time you register you will be asked to choose a ‘chat name’ or nickname, and this will be displayed in the Chat Room and if you win a game. Your ‘chat name’ should be chosen appropriately. We reserve the right to change any chat name to something more appropriate.

2.2 Tickets & Strips

2.3 To play Bingo, first you must buy tickets for the game and then once the game starts, numbers between 1 and either 30, 80, 75 or 90 are called out randomly. When a number called matches one on your ticket, it’s marked off. All tickets must be bought before the 30 or 60 second (depending on the game) countdown to a game starts. A ticket is an individual grid made up of a varying amount of rows and columns dependent on the game type selected. For example, in 90 ball Bingo, a ticket is an individual grid of 27 squares made up of 3 rows and 9 columns. Each row contains 5 numbers and 4 blank squares. 15 numbers appear on every ticket. In a game of 75 Ball Bingo, a ticket is an individual grid of 25 squares made up of 5 rows and 5 columns.

2.4 A strip is a group of ‘x’ amount of tickets dependent on the game type. Every possible number from the game type will appear on each full strip. For example, in 90 Ball Bingo, every possible number from 1 through to 90 will appear on each full strip of 6 tickets.

2.5 When you’re playing Bingo, you can see your tickets and strips in the ‘Ticket Area’ of the Bingo window. You can alter the view of these by using the ‘Zoom’ button to control how many tickets and strips you view at any one time.

2.6 Once tickets have been selected, you do have the option of replacing them.  You may replace a single ticket or all tickets.  This can be accomplished by hovering over the ticket and either selecting “Replace” or “Replace ALL”

3. Buying a Bingo Ticket

3.1 To buy tickets, you must first be logged into Bingo client area. You can then choose a Bingo room to play in and buy tickets either by selecting the ‘Buy’ button on the the screen, or by buying tickets in advance using the ‘Pre-Book’ option within the Bingo room or Lobby.

3.2 If you are using the ‘Pre-Book’ option, you will need to select the day and session you want to buy tickets for. If the Buy button is displayed by that session then Advance Ticket Purchase is available for that game. Advance tickets will appear in your account History as IN PROGRESS before the games are played. If you want to see your game being played, just log in to the game at the correct time. Alternatively if you don’t watch it, you’ll be able to see the results in your account History.

3.3 Tickets may be bought up to 7 (seven) days in advance of the game. Please note that you cannot cancel tickets for future games once they’ve been purchased and confirmed. Depending on the game, you can buy as many as 100 (one hundred) tickets per game.

3.4 The price of a ticket varies for each Bingo game. When tickets are available for purchase, the ticket price is clearly published on the Bingo window.

4. Winning at Bingo

4.1 Dependent on the variant, there are numerous ways to win in a game of Bingo. For more information on this, please see the Rules Schedule below.

4.2 If you’re a winner, but don’t mark your card as you’re going along, you’ll still win the prize as the game will automatically recognise that you’ve won. If more than one player meets the winning criteria at the same time, the prize will be split equally amongst the winners. Winnings are paid directly into the winner’s Account.

4.3 The minimum stake varies by which game you play. Depending on the game, you will be shown the value of your ticket and the maximum number of tickets that may be purchased for that game. Please refer to the rules within the Bingo rooms for more information.

4.4 Prizes are usually credited instantly, however please allow up to 1 minute after winning for the prize to be credited to your Account.

5. Bingo Bonus Codes

5.1 A ‘Bingo Bonus Code’ entitles you to a particular bonus or promotional offer. In order to claim this, you need to enter the code within the ‘Bingo Lobby’ to activate your offer.

5.2 To activate a Bonus Code in the Bingo Lobby, log into your Account and navigate to “Cashier”. Enter your Bonus Code in the box that appears at the top of the deposit options. If the code is accepted, your bonus will then be activated.

5.3 If the code is not accepted, please check the terms and conditions of the promotion to ensure eligibility. Some offers are only valid for a limited time only.

6. Loyalty Points

6.1 Loyalty Points are a loyalty scheme on  Bingo Entertainment sites. The more you play, the more ‘Loyalty Points’ and rewards you can earn. All Bingo Entertainment players are automatically entered into Loyalty Points Scheme.

6.2 You can earn points by playing on Bingo and Casino style side games. Each game carries a different amount of points – to see how many points you can earn on different games click on the ‘Loyalty Points’ tab within your Account.

6.3 To exchange your Loyalty Points for Bingo Bonuses, visit the ‘Loyalty Points’ page (by clicking ‘Loyalty Points’ while in the Bingo client). Redeeming your points will require a minimum of 1000 Loyalty Points.

7.2 Whilst using our Bingo Chat you must abide by the Chat Room Guidelines (available here) and the terms as set out in our General Terms and Conditions, Section 18 (Chat Rooms), available here.

7.3 We have CMs to make sure our Chat Rooms stay fun and friendly. They cannot answer queries about your Account or refunds. They will investigate the problem for you and the player(s) involved will be dealt with accordingly.

7.4 The CMs have the authority to revoke your chat privileges if you persistently break our rules, ignoring our advice and warnings. The CMs and our Customer Support Team can also block or ban players from the Chat Room or enforce a complete block on a player from playing if they do not conform to the Chat Room Guidelines. If you have your chat facility revoked when you login you will get a message telling you that you are not permitted to send chat messages or interact with other chat users.

7.5 If you send a message containing indecent, vulgar or discriminative language (including racial, sexual or ethnic), the message may not be broadcast to other players. The sender will be notified that the message was not sent because it contains banned words. Please be aware that although we do our best to keep our lists of banned words current to avoid offensive behaviour in our Chat Rooms, we cannot always guarantee that such conduct will not take place. Please contact our Customer Support team if you feel that something is inappropriate or goes against our Chat Room Guidelines or General Terms and Conditions.

8. Bingo Chat Games

8.1 Bingo Chat Games are free games that our CMs play with our players who are logged in to the Chat Room. To play the chat games there need to be a minimum of 3 players. If there fewer than 3 players, the Chat Game in play will be voided.

8.2 Chat Game pay outs are dependent on the Chat Game currently in play.

8.3 The CM decision is always final.

8.4 Chat Games may not be played on free games, and winners must have deposited within the last 30 days. Winning players will be credited with bonuses within one hour between 7am – 12am 7 days a week. Bonuses won on Bingo Chat Games are non-withdrawable.

9. RULES SCHEDULE

1) HOW TO WIN IN A GAME OF BINGO

Depending on the variant, there are numerous ways to win in a game of Bingo:

1. Be the first to mark ‘x’ number of line(s) (90 ball, 80 ball, 75 ball & 30 ball Bingo games)
4. Be the first to mark off a preset ‘pattern’ (75 Ball Pattern Bingo only)
5. Be the first to get House i.e. mark off all numbers on a ticket (all Bingo game types)

Explanations of these are given below.

‘x’ number of Lines
Your ticket is split into a number of horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines, dependent on the game type selected. Each line will have an equal amount of numbers on each and to win the ‘x’ line part of the game you must be the first to match all of the numbers on one or more of your lines with the numbers called out.

Preset Pattern (75 Ball Pattern Bingo only)
Win this prize by being the first player to mark off the numbers in a predetermined pattern, e.g. an X shape across the ticket. There are 3 types of pattern that can be played, and which include static, wild and crazy.

A ‘Static Pattern’ can only be won by a player marking off the pattern on their ticket in the same way that it’s displayed on the screen (There is only one position of the pattern).

A ‘Wild Pattern’ can be won in multiple ways on the Bingo ticket but can’t be rotated (There are several ways of achieving the pattern on the ticket).

A ‘Crazy Pattern’ can be won anywhere on the ticket and can be rotated to achieve this.

House
Win the House by matching all the numbers on one of your tickets with the numbers called out. You’ve got to be the first player to do this to win. ‘House’ is also known as ‘Bingo’.

Fixed & Progressive Jackpots

Jackpots are available in all bingo rooms. These are either Fixed or Progressive. To win a jackpot a player needs to be the first to get house in the allocated “Balls to Jackpot” for that particular pattern/game in question.  This varies in the 75 ball bingo rooms depending on the current pattern being played.  The same applies in the 90, 80 and 30 ball bingo rooms where the number of calls varies depending on whether you are playing for a single line, two lines or the full house. The maximum number of calls needed to called within which a jackpot can be won are always listed next to the Jackpot Amount.

Progressive Jackpots

A Progressive Jackpot is jackpot which increases with every ticket purchase on a room level.

The Progressive Jackpot can only be won on selected Bingo games. Progressive Jackpots can only be won on a determined number of calls ( i.e. the jackpot will be won if 37 calls or less occur in the selected Bingo game)

Progressive Jackpot Contributions

A percentage of the ticket price is taken to contribute to progressive jackpots. This is based on a variable scale determined by the value of the Jackpot and applies to cash wagers only:

Likelihood of winning and RTP

1. Prizes or guaranteed bingo pots can be won when a player purchases bingo tickets with Bingo Bonuses or Cash, participates in a game, and then wins that game. All bingo pots have a pay-out attached to them and guarantee a prize once the game session is completed.

2. The return to player (RTP) on a given Bingo game is a guaranteed amount that we will pay out, which is determined relative to the total wagering tickets purchased on that Bingo game.

2) BINGO FEATURES EXPLAINED

To get you started, here are some of the features you may see:

Bingo Lobby
The Bingo Lobby is where you can select which of the rooms you fancy playing in. It displays all the rooms that are currently open or opening soon and tells you how long is left before the next game starts, how many people are currently playing, what the ticket price is, and how much cash there is in the jackpot.

Clicking on the ‘Schedule’ button lets you search to see when your favourite game is next on and gives you info such as the price of the tickets for each game. From here, you can buy your tickets in advance of games so you don’t miss out on the chance to win big cash.

During the Bingo Game
Here are some of the features and functions you may wish to use during your Bingo Game:

  • Sorting Your Bingo Tickets During a game, your Bingo tickets or strips can be sorted to highlight which are closest to winning a prize. This feature can be turned on or off, but is set to on as default when you start playing. Click on the toggle button to turn it off, it’ll be green when it’s on and red when it’s off.

  • Numbers ‘To Go’ Whilst you’re playing you’ll be able to see how many balls you need to be called for you to win the current prize by looking at the right-hand side of your ticket. The colour of your ticket also tells you how many numbers are needed, as they change colour when there are 3 or less numbers needed to win a current prize. Orange is 3TG, Green is 2TG and Blue is 1TG.

  • Dabbing Numbers When your numbers are called out they can be marked-off your ticket by ‘dabbing’. You can dab the numbers yourself or allow it to be done automatically. The auto-dab feature will be turned on by default, but if you want to have the fun of dabbing the numbers yourself, click on the Ticket Options button at the top of the ticket area and select Auto-tab to toggle this setting. Don’t worry if you miss dabbing a number when it’s called out. If your ticket’s a winner, you’ll get your winnings whether it’s been dabbed or not.

  • The Bingo Caller introduces the Bingo games and calls out the number of each Bingo ball called. You can turn off or adjust the volume of the caller’s voice at any time in the Sound section of Options menu.

  • The Call Board The Call Board publishes each ball called and allows you to track the numbers called during a game of Bingo. The Call Board is a grid that shows every number between 1 and 90. At the start of the game no numbers appear on it. But as each Bingo ball is called, the current number is displayed boldly and appears on the grid. The number of balls called is also displayed.

3) SPECIFIC GAME RULES

Club 90

90 Ball Bingo Explained

As per the bingo games played in clubs, players must purchase tickets to play the game. However players must have registered an account before being able to purchase their tickets. 90 ball bingo tickets have an individual grid of 27 squares made up of 3 rows and 9 columns. Each row contains 5 numbers and 4 blank squares; 15 numbers appear on every ticket.

In a game of 90 ball bingo, a strip is a group of 6 tickets; every possible number from 1 through to 90 will appear on each full strip.

Each bingo game offers 3 prizes: 1 line, 2 lines and Full House.

  • 1 Line Prize: The player to have all the numbers matched with those drawn or called in a horizontal line on 1 of his tickets; wins the 1 line prize.
  • 2 Lines Prize: The player to have all the numbers matched with those drawn or called in 2 horizontal lines on one of his tickets; wins the 2 lines prize.
  • Full House: The player to have all the numbers matched with those drawn or called in 3 horizontal lines effectively covering the entirety of the same ticket wins the Full House prize (largest of the three).

To purchase single tickets, simply click on each individual ticket and click on the purchase button once you are satisfied with your purchases, alternatively you may purchase blocks of tickets by clicking on the desired number, Note; your account will only be debited once you click the buy button. You may continue to purchase further tickets at any time up to the game start.

The prize values update as purchases are made, the information button allows you to view the current prize values, a history button allows you to view previous winners and their prizes.

In the clubs, players must dab their number, using a dabber or a pen. For the prize to be valid, the players must shout “bingo” each time they complete a winning line before anyone else to claim the prize. Our game however is automated, and the software will automatically mark (or dab) the tickets and also determine whether it is a winning bingo card. Players who prefer to dab their own numbers can do this by going to the dauber options screen and disabling the auto daub option.

Winners will receive the current prize regardless of whether they have marked the numbers on the winning ticket as they will automatically be identified by the software.

A pop up window will then appear in the middle of the screen to display the winner/winners and the prize won. Please note that there might be several winners for any prize as each winning card may meet the prize criteria. In such circumstances the cash prize will be split in equal proportions between the winners. Furthermore, a single player may also win more than 1 prize in the same game.

After each prize win, the game will resume to the next available prize. The prize for which players are playing is highlighted. The game ends once the “Full House” prize is claimed at which time, the purchase period for the next game will begin. Your balance will be updated with all winnings at the completion of the game.

CLUB 75

75 Ball Explained

75 Ball Bingo is a popular North American version of the classic 90 Ball game. Players purchase numbered bingo cards and then mark off the numbers that are called out at random. The winner is the first player to correctly complete a winning pattern.

As per the bingo games played in clubs, players must purchase tickets to play the game. However players must have registered an account before being able to purchase their tickets. 75 ball bingo is played on a 5×5 grid of numbers called a card. All the squares contain a number except the middle square which is left free.  Games patterns vary throughout the day and cards are deemed as winners once all of the shaded pattern areas are filled.

To purchase single tickets, simply click on each individual ticket and click on the purchase button once you are satisfied with your purchases, alternatively you may purchase blocks of tickets by clicking on the desired number, Note; your account will only be debited once the selected game purchase period opens.

The game ends once the prize is claimed at which time; the purchase period for the next game will begin. Your balance will be updated with all winnings at the completion of the game.

75 Number bingo prizes are funded through ticket purchases; as each ticket is purchased, the prizes will update accordingly, all tickets purchased in a game will contribute to the game prize (s).

10. Casino Games

10.1 Fair Play

The casino games offered on the website use a highly sophisticated Random Number Generator (RNG) device that creates random outcomes for each game. Whatever the customer has bet on or the amount they have staked has no influence on the number the RNG arrives at.

The RNG used by our casino games software has been checked by iTech Labs, an internationally recognised and respected Accredited Testing Facility. The RNG was tested according to UK Gambling commission requirements.

We ensure all the games are put through rigorous tests before releasing them for customers to access. In addition, our software supplier who provide us with games will conduct their own extensive testing including playing through the games millions of times before any game is made available on our website.

10.2 Game Recovery

General Disconnection

If you suffer a disconnection during a game, you will be taken straight back to the game you were playing at the exact point you were disconnected. Please log back in to the game and you will receive a pop up message stating that your disconnected game is being reloaded. Once the game has been restored you will be able to complete it.

Jackpot Amounts

Please note that all jackpot amounts displayed on the website or within the Lobby are for information purposes only. The exact amount of any jackpot is displayed within the relevant game window once the game has been launched.

10.3 Fair Payouts

Bingo Entertainment ensure all the games are put through rigorous tests before releasing it for customers to access. 10.4 Online Video Poker

To play video poker, you first place your bet by selecting a coin size and the number of coins. Then click the Deal button. You will receive five cards.

After examining your cards, you must decide which ones you want to hold and which ones you want to trade in for different cards. You do this by clicking on the cards you want to hold. You may hold as many cards as you want to: from no cards at all up to all five of your cards.

Then click the Draw button. The cards that you did not hold will be replaced by new cards to create your final video poker hand. Your final hand is then compared to the payout table to determine if you are a video poker winner and, if so, how much you won.

Online Video Poker Strategy

The decision of which cards to hold and which to discard is where video poker strategy and thought comes into play. Suppose you have a 3 of spades, 6 of spades, 9 of spades, Ace of spades, and Ace of hearts. Do you keep the pair of aces and discard the rest? Or do you keep the four spades in hope of drawing a fifth spade for a flush? A difficult decision indeed, but that’s what makes online video poker interesting. And one of the advantages of playing video poker online is that you can take a couple of minutes to think about the odds, the probabilities, and the potential payouts, instead of feeling rushed into making a snap decision.

Wild Cards in Video Poker

Some online video poker games have the added attraction of a wild card. A video poker wild card can stand in for any other card to complete a winning poker hand. In Deuces Wild, for example, the 2’s are wild. A hand of 2-4-5-6-8 would be a loser in most poker games, but in Deuces Wild the 2 can act as a 7 to complete the 4-5-6-7-8 straight. With a wild card, you can even achieve a hand of five of a kind, a feat that would otherwise be impossible. This is another advantage of online video poker.

Winning at Video Poker

Each online video poker game has its own rule concerning the minimum hand needed to win. In Tens Or Better, you need at least a pair of 10’s; in Jacks Or Better, at least a pair of Jacks; in Joker Poker, at least a pair of Kings. In Deuces Wild, you need at least three of a kind.

The Online Video Poker Payout Schedules

All of the online video poker games award higher payouts for the higher poker hands. The top hand is a royal flush. In Joker Poker, it pays out 4,000 coins on a 5-coin bet.

After the royal flush come the straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pairs, and a pair.

Although the order of the poker hand rankings is the same in most video poker games, the amount of the payouts varies widely from game to game. A flush, for example, pays out 2-to-1 in Deuces Wild, 3-to-1 in Deuces and Joker, 4-to-1 in Double Joker, 5-to-1 in Aces and Faces, 6-to-1 in Jacks or Better, 7-to-1 in Double Bonus Poker, and 8-to-1 in All American Poker. And that is just one example.

Choosing an Online Video Poker Game

As you browse through the selection of Video Poker games in the online casino, pay attention to the payout table, the minimum hand needed to win, and whether or not the game has a wild card. You will see that every game has advantages and disadvantages in these areas.

10.5 Online Blackjack

Blackjack, also known as twenty-one, is a card game of skill and luck. The object of the game is to draw a hand whose value is higher than that of the dealer’s hand, but without going over 21. If you go over 21, you “bust” and automatically lose.

There are many variations of online blackjack, and each variation has its own special rules. Nevertheless, there are basic blackjack rules that are common to most online blackjack games. Once you learn these basic blackjack rules, it will be easy to learn the special rules that apply to your particular blackjack game.

Blackjack Basics

In blackjack, cards 2 through 10 are worth their face value, and all face cards are worth 10. An ace is worth either 1 or 11, whichever is more advantageous. A hand with an ace that is counted as 11 is called a “soft” hand; thus, an ace and a 6 is called “soft 17.” A hand with an ace counting as 1 is called a “hard” hand.

Starting the Blackjack Game

To start a game of blackjack, you first place your bet, and then you receive two cards, both face up. The dealer receives one card face up. In some blackjack variations, he receives a second card face down, known as the “hole card”. In other variations, the dealer does not receive his second card until a later stage in the blackjack game.

If your two cards total 21, you have “blackjack.” and you automatically win, unless the dealer has blackjack too. If you both have blackjack, the hand is a tie (called a “push”). Otherwise, a winning blackjack pays out at a rate of 3 to 2. All other winning hands pay out at 1 to 1.

Playing Your Blackjack Hand

If you do not have blackjack, then, after examining your two cards and the dealer’s card, you play your hand by making one of the following moves:

Stand: You take no more cards, and it is now the dealer’s turn to play his hand.

Hit: You take another card. You may continue hitting until you either bust or decide to stand.

Split: If your two cards are the same, you may split them into two separate hands. A bet equal to the amount of your original bet is placed on each of the two hands, effectively doubling your bet. Each of your split hands receives a second card. You then play each resulting hand independently by standing, hitting, etc.

Surrender: If you think you are likely to lose the hand, you may surrender half your bet rather than risk losing your entire bet.

Take Insurance: If the dealer’s up card is an ace you can take insurance, which is a bet that is equal to half of your original bet. Essentially, you are betting that the dealer will get a blackjack. If he does, you win a 2-to-1 payout on the insurance bet. If the dealer does not have a blackjack, you lose the insurance bet and proceed to play your hand.

Deciding how to play your hand, of course, is where blackjack strategy comes into play.

The Dealer Plays His Hand

If you bust or surrender, the game is over and you may start a new game. Otherwise, after you stand, it is the dealer’s turn to play his hand.

The dealer first turns over his hole card, if he has one, or else he receives his second card at this point. In playing his hand, the dealer has fewer options than you do and no freedom of choice. He must play his hand strictly in accordance with the following rules:

If the dealer’s cards total 16 or less, he must hit.

If the dealer’s cards total 18 or more, he must stand.

With a hard 17, the dealer must stand. With a soft 17, the rules vary among the different blackjack games: in some games, the dealer must hit; in others, he must stand.

Determining the Winner of the Blackjack Game

After you and the dealer have finished playing your hands, the winner of the online blackjack game is determined.

If you have blackjack (an ace and a 10-value card) as your first two cards, and the dealer does not, you win a payout of 3-to-2. All other winning hands pay out 1-to-1.

If you bust (go over 21), you lose automatically, regardless of what the dealer does.

If you stand without busting, and the dealer busts, you win the blackjack game.

If neither you nor the dealer busts, the one with the total closest to 21 wins the game.

If you and the dealer have the same card total, the game is a “push” and you get your bet back without winning or losing anything.

10.6 Online Keno

Keno is one of the simplest of the online casino games, but it is a lot of fun and can get very exciting. The object of the game of keno is to guess which keno numbers, from 1 to 80, will be drawn by the casino keno computer. Keno is similar to a lottery but it’s played more frequently and is way faster. Online keno is a wonderful game for anyone who likes to try his luck at guessing numbers.

Playing Online Keno

The first step in playing keno is to pick your wager amount by increasing or decreasing your coin size.

Then, you select your lucky keno numbers. The keno board has 80 numbers. Depending on your preferred keno strategy, you may select anywhere from one to fifteen numbers. Your selected numbers will be highlighted in blue on the keno board.

Once you are satisfied with your wager amount and your keno number selection, click the Play button. The keno machine will shoot out twenty numbered balls with the winning keno numbers. If a winning number matches a number you selected, it is called a “hit.” Your hits will be highlighted in red on the keno board. If you get enough hits, you win at keno.

Winning at Keno

Winning at online keno depends on how many numbers you selected and how many hits you achieved.

If you selected only one keno number, and that number hits, you win 3 coins. (How much a coin is worth depends on the coin size you picked at the beginning of the game.)

If you select eight numbers, and four of them hit, you win 2 coins. Five hits will pay out 7 coins, six hits will pay out 50 coins, seven hits will pay 500, and eight hits will pay 2500 coins.

If you select the maximum ten numbers, and all ten hit, you win 10,000 coins!

The payout schedule is always displayed prominently on your screen, so you never have to guess or worry about forgetting or getting mixed up when you play keno online. You can just enjoy picking your lucky keno numbers and collecting your keno payouts when they hit. That’s the fun of online keno.

10.7 Online Slots

This page presents a general overview of online slots terminology and rules. This will be enough to get you started playing the online slot machines, but be sure to go over the specific rules of the online slot game that you choose to play.

Symbols, Reels and Paylines

The reels are the main component of any slot machine. A reel is basically a wheel with symbols painted on it. When you click the Spin button, the reels spin around and eventually stop in a particular position.

The symbols on a slot machine can really be anything at all. They are often related to the theme of the slot machine game. Fancy Fruit, for example, has a fruity theme; symbols include oranges, lemons, grapes and pineapples. Common symbols on many slot machines include cherries, playing cards, the number 7, and the bar symbol.

A payline is a line that runs across all the reels. A payline may be horizontal, diagonal, or zigzagged. When you bet on a particular payline, you are said to have “enabled” that payline. You win at slots when the winning symbols appear on a payline that you have enabled. Some modern online slots games employ Ways To Win, allowing a winning payout whenever matching symbols appear on adjacent reels, instead of paylines.

Classic Slots, Video Slots, and Fruit Machines

The two main types of online slot machines are classic slots and video slots. There are also fruit machines, which are a special type of classic slots.

Classic slots, also known as reel slots, are the three-reel slot machines. They have a curved, 3-D appearance on your computer screen, just like the original mechanical slot machines had. They can have 1, 3, or 5 paylines.

Video slots are the five-reel slot machines. They appear flat on your computer screen, much like a flat-screen TV. They all have at least 5 paylines, some have up to 100 paylines, and a few have done away with paylines altogether and offer hundreds of Ways To Win.

Fruit machines, also known as AWP (Amusement with Prizes) machines, are UK-style three-reel slot machines. Fruit machines have special Hold and Nudge features, and often have bonus games within the slot machine game.

Playing Online Slots

Before you start to play an online casino slots game, you must make three decisions: coin size, number of coins per line, and number of paylines enabled. You select the coin size by clicking the Plus or Minus button, select the number of coins per line by clicking the Select Coins button, and select the number of paylines enabled by clicking the Select Lines button.

If, for example, you select a coin size of £0.25 and you select 5 coins, you will be betting £1.25 on each enabled payline. If you select 3 paylines, your total wager will be £3.75 on each spin.

How to Win at Online Slots

You win at online slots when a winning combination of symbols appears on a payline that you have enabled. If you have enabled multiple paylines, it is possible to win on one or more paylines and to lose on other paylines.

Every online slot machine has a payout schedule that tells you which symbols, in which combinations, pay out how many coins. The payout schedule is easily accessible, and you may consult it whenever you want. It is not necessary to memorize the payout schedule, or to do anything to claim your winnings. The machine will do the figuring for you and will automatically add your winnings to your casino account.

Online Progressive Slots

Progressive online slots, like all online slots, have a variety of winning combinations that pay out different sized jackpots. What makes them special is that they also have a progressive jackpot for a specific winning combination. The progressive jackpot has no fixed value — it keeps getting bigger and bigger every time someone plays the game.

Before you play a progressive slot machine game, make sure to read the rules of the particular game carefully. In most cases, you have to bet the maximum amount to be eligible for the progressive jackpot. The rules might vary with each game, so make sure you understand and follow the rules of the particular progressive slot machine that you have chosen.

Scatter Symbols, Wild Symbols, and Multipliers

Scatter symbols appear in video slot machines only. Unlike all the other symbols, scatter symbols do not have to appear on an enabled payline to win. They can be “scattered” anywhere on the five reels.

Wild Symbols appear in both classic slots and video slots. A wild symbol can substitute for any other symbol to complete a winning combination, much like a wild card in a game of poker. In many slots games, the wild symbol also acts as a multiplier. This means that the payout for a winning combination that includes the wild symbol is multiplied by 2, 3, or even more.

Free Spins, Gambles, and other Bonus Features

Many online slots games have a free spins feature. With free spins, you have a chance to win lots of money, but with no risk of losing any.

10.7 Pull Tabs

You receive a card, and pull away the tabs to reveal the hidden symbols underneath. The right combination of symbols can make you a scratch card winner.

Playing Online Pull Tabs

In order to initiate a game of online Pull Tabs, you must place a wager by clicking on the Plus or Minus button of the Coin Selector.  Some Pull tabs have fixed purchase values.

Once you have placed your Pull Tab wager, press the play button to pull away the surface of the Pull Tab strips to reveal the hidden symbols.

How to Win at Pull Tabs

In order to win an online Pull Tab game, you must have three of the same symbol on the same strip. If you win, the winning combination is highlighted on the screen.

If you win on a Pull Tab, you immediately win a prize equal to the amount of your bet multiplied by the value of the winning symbols.
